PENNFLEET Corp is looking for a positive, highly organized, independent self-starter to join our Boothwyn, PA team.
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for: Maintaining the facility and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for staff, and customers. This role supports in general cleaning and sanitation, preventative maintenance, general repairs, projects and tasks. Must be able to work nights and weekends if required.
This is a full-time position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses technical and mechanical problems and makes repairs as appropriate
Responsible for cleaning, maintenance, and beautification of facility and grounds
Conducts scheduled maintenance throughout building and property and for all equipment
Maintains all essential equipment in a safe operating condition
A working ability with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry
Operates our forklifts
Must be comfortable with hand and power tools, painting, minor plumbing, and some electrical work
Other duties as required
Physical Demands and Environment:
Manual and powered tools
Exposure to noise, confined spaces, fumes or airborne particles, and weather
Ability to carry and move fifty (50) pounds or more throughout the property, including up and down stairways
Must be capable of walking, including stairs climbing, ladder climbing, kneeling, reaching, bending and lifting
Ability to stand the entire shift with long hours sometimes required
Comfortable working at various heights
Operate a forklift
Perform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned

High School or GED required
Knowledge of facility major mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing systems is required, formal training in one discipline is preferred
Familiarity with OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and Federal, State and Local
Knowledge of all aspects of operations and building systems. Read, interpret and follow architectural and general engineering drawings, schematics and specifications as well as manufacturers installation and maintenance documentation
Prior Janitorial Experience is preferred
One year previous experience preferred, but not required.
