PENNFLEET Corp is looking for a positive, highly organized, independent self-starter to join our Boothwyn, PA team.
The Maintenance Technician position is responsible for: Maintaining the facility and grounds to provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for staff, and customers. This role supports in general cleaning and sanitation, preventative maintenance, general repairs, projects and tasks. Must be able to work nights and weekends if required.
This is a full-time position: 40 hours per week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnoses technical and mechanical problems and makes repairs as appropriateResponsible for cleaning, maintenance, and beautification of facility and groundsConducts scheduled maintenance throughout building and property and for all equipmentMaintains all essential equipment in a safe operating conditionA working ability with HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentryOperates our forkliftsMust be comfortable with hand and power tools, painting, minor plumbing, and some electrical workOther duties as required
Physical Demands and Environment:Manual and powered toolsExposure to noise, confined spaces, fumes or airborne particles, and weatherAbility to carry and move fifty (50) pounds or more throughout the property, including up and down stairwaysMust be capable of walking, including stairs climbing, ladder climbing, kneeling, reaching, bending and liftingAbility to stand the entire shift with long hours sometimes requiredComfortable working at various heightsOperate a forkliftPerform additional duties and assist with special projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:High School or GED requiredKnowledge of facility major mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing systems is required, formal training in one discipline is preferredFamiliarity with OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and Federal, State and LocalKnowledge of all aspects of operations and building systems. Read, interpret and follow architectural and general engineering drawings, schematics and specifications as well as manufacturers installation and maintenance documentationPrior Janitorial Experience is preferredOne year previous experience preferred, but not required.
