The Office of University Development (OUD) is seeking a seasoned administrative support assistant for a part-time role reporting to the Assistant VP Development Administration. The position has two main areas of focus. First, to provide critical administrative support that includes: developing and updating complex Excel spreadsheets containing highly-confidential data; creating, updating, and presenting reports to Division of Development and Alumni Relations (DDAR) leadership utilizing various databases, PowerPoint and Publisher. Second, the role will support the AVP in non-routine special projects as assigned, frequently liaising with fundraising leadership across University units. In each area, effective use of persuasion and negotiation to build consensus and cooperation in a complex organizational structure is essential, as is contributing to thoughtful solutions and applying them to strategic operating issues. The successful candidate will have: exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills; strong proficiency in utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher) in a professional setting; close attention to detail; effectively multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment; an openness to receiving and giving honest feedback; and experience handling and protecting strictly-confidential information. This position typically requires a high school diploma plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
