Seeking a part-time Nurse Interventionist for an NIH-funded study. The study focuses on disseminating function-focused care, an approach aimed at promoting physical activity and physical function in assisted living facilities. Settings are in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include working with facility staff to develop an action plan, conduct policy and environmental assessments and observations of care, provide staff training, help develop treatment plans, and provide coaching and motivational activity according to the study protocol.Qualifications include: license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania, skill in basic rehab approaches, and excellent communication skills at the individual and group level (including with older adults).
